SAFETY
WARNINGS
IMPORTANT
In order to optimize your cleaning performance, please provide the
following information when ordering nozzles:
- System flow
(GPM of pump)
- System pressure
(working PSI of pump)
- Size, type
& length of hose
WARNING
In order to avoid possible property damages and personnel injuries
when handling these tools, we recommend that the nozzle be exposed
to gradual pressure only after it has been set and secured inside
the pipe, away from the operator. Sewer Equipment Company of America
is not responsible for damage or injury resulting from the improper
or unintended use of these tools.
DISCLAIMER
Manufacturer has the right to modify designs. Actual accessory shipped
may not be identical to photo.
CAUTION
- Safety must
be your first target. Follow "Recommended Practice" of your Sewer
Cleaning Association.
- Always read
the instruction manuals.
- Pressure
and flow of the pump: the nozzle must be assembled taking into
account the pump parameters. If, the jet surface is large the
pump will underwork the requested pressure; if it is small the
pump will overwork, reducing its working life.
- Bigger back
jets than forward jets allow the tool to pull itself.
- Using rotating
nozzles: rotate fast with small jet patterns, slow when cleaning
big parameters; use mechanical drives to assure rotation.
- To improve
the performance of your nozzle use manhole hose guides.
